Please RSVP by 7/22Meet at the Park and Ride behind Chevron at Bollinger and SRVB at 7:30AMTravel Time: 90 Minutes

Expenses: If you bring your own pole it’s $2.50 per person. Pole rentals $4.75 (full set ups). They make their money on the fish you catch...and you WILL catch fish. Fish under 7” are free but it goes up the bigger the fish. See the prices on their website (they do take Visa and MC). It can get pricey because without setting a limit on your kids they will catch a lot. So please keep track of what they are catching and be mindful of the expense. Don’t forget the bridge toll also.

    Other Details:

  • There is NO catch and release. You catch it, you keep it.
  • They sell bait at their store.
  • There isn’t a ton of shade around the ponds so dress accordingly: bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water. If you have a shade umbrella or canopy great but if your line is in the water you will be busy.
  • You can pack your own lunch but they do have a snack bar there. Not sure what they have so call ahead.
  • Scouts wear their class B uniforms (Pack T-Shirt).
  • Tiger Cubs must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.
  • Feel free to invite siblings, family, friends…it’s a great time.
  • No drop offs, however, if you can work out an arrangement to have another parent be responsible for your child that’s ok but your child will need to bring their medical forms (parts A and B)
  • All kids in attendance will need to bring a signed consent form (BSA Consent Form)
  • Bring ice chests and Ziploc bags to store your fish after they clean them (They charge $0.35 per fish to clean them)
  • This is a very fun experience for the kids and adults. If your child has never been fishing before there is no better place to get them started because the fish are ALWAYS biting. Carpooling is recommended to save gas/money and enjoy the company of others. As the kids who have been here before will tell fish tastes better than the one’s you catch yourself.
  • If you are planning on driving I will need your information for our travel plan. Again, carpools are a great idea.
  • Any questions please give me a call.
